Students beginning first grade differ considerably in school readiness skills. The School Readiness Test (SRT) assists educational professionals in determining a student’s readiness for first grade and allows teachers to learn about entering students’ abilities, particularly any factors that might interfere with the learning process or success in school.
The SRT consists of ten subtests evaluating key academic skills with an optional handwriting assessment.

The SRT is group administered assessment given at the end of kindergarten or before the third full week of first grade.
Hand-Scoring
The User’s Manual contains instructions for administering and scoring the test. The manual also contains a Class Record Sheet and Class Summary Report to help track group performance.
Scoring Center - Scoring ServiceSTS also offers scoring service for an additional fee. Standard processing time for scoring the SRT is approximately 10 business days. The shipping time to receive any paper reports is in addition to that.
Parent-Teacher ReportsParent-Teacher Reports are also available for purchase to assist with presenting test results to parents.
