The terms “creative thinking abilities,” as used in the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking, Figural and Verbal Forms A and B, refers to the constellation of mental abilities brought into play in creative achievements.

Preschool Progress Screening (PPS)

The PPS is a quick and easy screening of general educational exposure, experiences and growth skills that should be present or progressing in 3-5 year-olds. It’s designed to report on developmental milestones, drive classroom instruction, and to preliminarily identify children who may need additional support or services.

The PPS allows teachers to evaluate skills in three developmental areas: Language, Concepts, and Motor Skills. Teachers should administer PPS twice a year to see how the child’s skills have developed.

Kindergarten Readiness Test (KRT)

The KRT assists in determining a student’s readiness for beginning kindergarten. The KRT subtests show the extent to which each of the underlying competencies has been developed in reading, mathematics, and language skills.

It can be administered in 45 minutes either at the end of preschool or before the third full week of kindergarten.

School Readiness Test (SRT)

The SRT is an effective tool for determining the readiness of each student for first grade. Students will be evaluated by ten subtests with an optional handwriting assessment. Score and skills ratings for each subtest are measured along with an overall readiness score and rating.

The SRT can be administered in 1 hour and 35 minutes either at the end of kindergarten or before the third full week of first grade.

Educational Development Series (EDSERIES)

The EDSeries is a standardized battery of ability and achievement tests for grades K-12. The EDSeries assesses the areas of Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Quantitative and Verbal Skills (cognitive skills). The results obtained from the EDSeries identify students’ strengths and needs and guide individual or group instruction.

EDSeries score reports provide national percentiles and local percentiles, which allow for comparisons among students and student groups.

Quick Inventory of Competency (QUIC)

The QUIC test is designed for use at grades two through twelve to quickly establish or verify the functional level of proficiency in mathematics or communicative arts. The QUIC can serve as a snapshot of class performance and assist with student placement.

The QUIC consists of blocks of items; each block contains content that is uniquely representative of the student’s grade level.

For your convenience, QUIC is also available online. Online score reports are generated within 15 minutes of submission.
